lease of life and during the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ will be the city’s second most important venue. No
entrance tickets will be required – and to top it all, there will be a huge cultural support

Live broadcast of the 56 World Cup games on a 60 square metre video screen is just one part of
the extensive and free 2006 FIFA World Cup™ programme. Background reporting, interviews and live
link-ups with the other World Cup venues will be shown as well as exciting entertainment in the form
of daily changing shows performed on a large open-air stage.
The FIFA FAN FEST is a jointly produced event between FIFA WM Gelsenkirchen and emschertainment
GmbH.
