Safety

Safety precautions are of paramount importance so that FAN FEST visitors can enjoy the festival and watch the live football transmissions. A policy agreed by the police service and the municipal authorities will ensure that the festival runs smoothly.

There will be intensive control checks at site entrances enabling those items which do not belong at a FAN FEST to be detected in good time and appropriately disposed of. The Glückaufkampfbahn site is surrounded by fencing making it possible to refuse admission should the site become overcrowded. There are many well sign-posted emergency exits on the site.

A specially trained security service will be working closely with the police service in matters of control and other safety measures necessary to stadium regulations.

Emergency access for the fire service, rescue teams and ambulances will be kept clear at all times. The surrounding residential roads will be closed to traffic with only residents being permitted access. Therefore, we would request that all visiting fans use local public transport for their journey.
