Programme After almost twenty highly successful
years, during which their fifteen albums have sold more
than 20 million copies, the GIPSY KINGS are going back to
their roots.
The French band who invented modern flamenco and put
it up there between heavy metal and hip-hop, have decided
to take their leave of synthesizers, electronic effects
and hi-tech Paris recording studios.
Hence the name of their latest album. The brothers and
cousins of the Reyes (Canut, Nicolas, Andre, Pablo and
Patchal) and the Baliardo (Diego, Paco and Tonino)
families recorded their new album, Roots in a
farmhouse near St.Andre-de-Bueges in Languedoc, France.
