Programme The intro alone is outrageous and
that’s just what the Fantas are. Ironic and able to laugh
at themselves, for them it’s all about experience,
keeping it cool and above all, it’s about respect.
The Vier conjure up a fictitious future: how would it
be if they weren’t making any more records and weren’t
recognized by the doorman at the disco? What if they
couldn’t even get past the door? They’re standing there
moaning but all they end up with is a bawling out from
the bouncer. So who are the Vier anyway? Well, kiss my
arse – but that’s how it goes sometimes. A few well
chosen words though, and a lot of big-shot rapping about
old times does the trick. And then, as soon as they got
the doorman problem sorted, inside there was something
else they hadn’t bargained for. Amazing. Die
Fantastischen Vier – an extra bonus in a world of
surprises, the hidden track of the German music scene and
the godfathers of pop humour.
Support Act : clueso
Clueso, known in real life as Thomas Hübner, first saw
the light of day in 1980. A dreamy and sensitive youth,
he followed a creative pathway of his own making and soon
the nickname clueso became the name of the professional
artist.
Now in 2006, he can look back over a music career
spanning 11 years. His current album Gute Musik
demonstrates that clueso has put heart and soul into his
development from rapper and backing-track producer to
songwriter.
